San Luis, Arizona —The City of San Luis is bringing its annual Fourth of July Freedom Celebration to your backyards on July 4, 2020, starting at 9:00 p.m.

The City of San Luis 4th of July Freedom Celebration has been a highlight of our community, bringing over 20,000 people together. In an effort to decrease the spread of COVID-19, the event will be streamed on the City of San Luis’ official Facebook page (@SanLuisAZGov).

The virtual event will offer a variety of entertainment including musical performances, a special rendition of the National Anthem by Evelyn Gonzalez, and a live presentation of the best fireworks show in South Yuma County!

“As we work on mitigating COVID-19 cases, city staff has worked tirelessly in finding innovative ways to carry on with one of the biggest celebrations in town”, stated Mayor Gerardo Sanchez. “We hope next year we can celebrate 4th of July together,” he added. “Please continue to practice all proactive measures to slow the curve in our community.
