The City of San Luis was originally founded in 1930 with the opening of the International Land Border Crossing. Today, the city's economy is inextricably linked with that of its Mexican sister City San Luis Rio Colorado, Sonora, located contiguous to San Luis, Arizona across the border. San Luis established and continues to nourish a relationship with our sister City of San Luis Rio Colorado, Sonora, Mexico.
San Luis has a variety of businesses focusing in logistics, warehouse, transportation, system support and customer brokers to assist you in the crossing of goods between the two countries. The San Luis Port User Association meets on a monthly basis with both U.S. and Mexican Custom to discuss issues affecting our port users. Our relationship continues to growth as the potential of trade with Mexico rises.
